Hey people! 0x90 here,
Long time ago, I used to hack in GodsWar, and managed to achieve a Xtals dupe (25x Lv. 1 Crystals), the method is of my own, so far it only included a packet logger and cheat engine... {Partial Explanation}So when I finished first doing a the dupe, I was able to get 2 Sets of 25x Lv. 1 Xtals (2 sets x 25 = 50x Xtals) so when I finished I closed the client to make sure it was a legit dupe and not a Shadow one (Shadow is when the dupe is only a client-sided dupe and you lose the items later on) so I went online, and I remember I was jumping of excitement because when I opened the inventory, there was my 50x of Crystals...
I was able to do it, but since I did it so long ago I don't remember it anymore, I know that I named it {Legacy-Dupe} It was lots of steps that I needed to do in order to achieve the dupe and I wrote it down in a txt file in my computer, but I that was looong time ago and lots of things has happened since... lost the files, got a new computer, etc, etc... so I'm working down with the method ... AGAIN... and hopefully I will, with a little bit of trial & error, get the steps working again and ultimately upload the steps to the public, and work on some other stuff
-TODO hacks:
- Legacy-Scam (the hack will consist in glitching the system in such a way that when you put an item into the trade window, the player you are dealing with, will see the item, but you won't have anything in your trade window! that will be like a Shadow dupe, but instead just a client-side copy of the item, it will be (hopefully) server-side!
More ideas to come!~
If you personally don't like hacks, I'm sorry, but this is for overall development and research FROM development and research, and these type of hacks comes naturally when you deal with game memory management and when especially you are doing this critical thinking and hard work of understanding how a game works! so it's not up to me to keep all these things for myself if it will help other people! This is a community and we all should act as one!

« Last post by 0x90 on July 23, 2014, 05:14:48 pm »Hello there everyone, I have seen Devia for a time, these guys started development more earlier than me and they got into some pretty cool stuff but hardly, and I understand them because I come from the bottom too, for those who don't know me, I'm 0x90 Head Administrator and Author of project GWO - Bright Dawn, a Private Server of my own that I was creating, when everything started in RaGZONE, as you can see, I have been reporting on and off since 2010 that I made that original thread.
After years of R&D (Research and Development) I just concluded in one thing, I just needed to send my project into the wild and loose, and make it public, I got the privilege to get a very skilled developer to work with me that's like 1 year since that already, and he managed to make the login server. The login server accepts at least 1 account (developing and debugging purposes) and it works by mainly forging packets and re-sending them to the client-server and vice-versa...
Coming back to Devia, I see you guys have structured down as a whole community, and that is good, It just saddens me deep down in my heart that I see no people already here, and that this development of yours went down, feels like bad time hits us hard.
I came here because MY Cause is YOUR cause... to start doing something for US players and LEGIT people who want to finally see a Private Server for Godswar UP and Running.
So I decided to join because I want this as badly as you want it too (and my hopes is that you still want it.) so I hope that joining forces with my knowledge and yours, we all can create something and come up with something good!~
